2000 Fox released the first trailer for the comedy of observing birds in La Grande Année competitive. Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson star of three men trying to outdo each other in a competition throughout the year to identify the rarest birds in North America. Martin, Black and Wilson are incredibly fun given the right material, but nothing in this trailer made me laugh. Given the history, it is possible that the film is a comedy-drama, but one would think that would be at least a few laughs the cast gave excellent. I hope you now have returned the goods, so I reserve my rights until we see more.

Rosamund Pike, Jim Parsons, Joel McHale, JoBeth Williams, Brian Dennehy, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Anderson, and Tim Blake Nelson also star. David Frankel (Marley & Me) directed the adaptation of Mark Obmascik book. The year opens on October 14 Big Check the trailer after the jump.

Owen Wilson, Steve Martin and Jack Black really try to keep the item on Friday curd Fox "The Big Year", a trio of competitive birders.
